Im Canadian (Toronto) and I have to fly to England this May.
The flights are rather expensive and Ive paid almost $1000 CDN for them before.These were direct flights.
Im willing to go to Buffalo, NY and catch a flight to England from there and if the price difference is substantial, Im fine with connections as well.
Im wondering what are some really good discount websites for flights to England from US or Canada.
And even better: discount airlines if there are any.

You can try this site: http://www.whichbudget.com/en/. I've used it quite a bit here in Europe and found some excellent deals. There aren't really many very cheap flights anymore, prices have gone up for all the airlines. This is still a good resource for identifying airlines with relatively inexpensive flights between a given pair of cities though. There are links to the airline websites to check specific schedules and prices.

The best fare I can find is with Emirates Airlines. Emirates will start offering a direct flight from Toronto to Dubai (DBX) beginning in September 2007. You can catch
Emirates #242 to Dubai and then connect on Emirates #420 to Perth. Returning to will take Emirates #421 from Perth to Dubai, then catch Emirates #201 to New York-JFK. From JFK you will take American Airlines #4770 to Toronto. Roundtrip with all taxes will cost you $2,149.
Emirates has frequent flyer partnerships with Continental Airlines, United Airlines, Japan Airlines, Korean Air, and South African Airways.
