The best prices from Columbus, OH to Maldives is $1,528 for November 13 – November 23, 2007. My fiance and I are hoping for something cheaper. Any suggestions on specific airlines or flight search sites would be appreciated. Thanks.

china eastern are the cheapest with one stop in a china with paid hotel was nice but that was to sydney you would have to look if they go to perth

I am a Malaysian and I have a friend who are citizen at Sdyney, he would like to invite me to visit him. This is my first time i want to go for other country. What should he do to let me past the customs easily? If he want write a letter to me for show to the customs, what content should be write in the letter?

First off, visit a travel agency in KL. They would be best to advise you on getting to Sydney , on a variety of airlines that serve that city. They will also be able to arrange an Electronic Travel visa for you.

It would of course be preferred that you have some sort of documentation such as address, your friend's name, and phone number ie mobile phone with you. A letter from your place of employment in Malaysia helps too. How long you have been there, and how long of a holiday you will be taking. If you do not have a job currently in Malaysia, then you might be asked how you are going to support yourself whilst on holiday.

There is no easy way to pass through immigration , especially in Australia. You will be asked questions as to why you are going to Sydney, how long you will be staying, who you will be seeing etc.

You might be asked to go to a secondary check, which is to verify your resources. Once you pass through that, you will be asked to go through customs check. Please do not bring in any meat, food, plant or even wood products into Australia. They are very strict with that.

But above all, just go and have a good time in Australia.

I need to book a return flight from NYC to Buffalo in two weeks time, can anyone tell me which US airlines operate between these destinations? Or which websites I could use to find fares and schedules? I want to fly as cheaply as possible.

Actually, Delta, USAir, Continental, and Jetblue are competing on this route–all with nonstop jet service. When one has a sale, the others match price, so it's hard to say one is always cheaper than the other.

You can sign up for fare alerts there, too.

Price being equal, I'd choose Jetblue, unless one of the others had more convenient departure times for me.

Sometime in Nov – if needs be can flight from somewhere other than NYC.

American Airlines normally has sales to Buenos Aires. Check http://www.aa.com to see what they have.

I would have reccommended Aerolinas Argentinas but they are typically soo expensive.

Apart from that – IIRC, Delta also flyes to Buenos Aires.

Other carriers such as LAN – (Lan Chile) fly to Buenos Aires with a connection in Santiago. If you are willing to connect then your oppurtunities might increase (notably – Avianca via Colombia) and AA (via Miami) as well as Continental (via Newark).

Know any cheap Chinese airlines for inbound flights?

Such as Shanghai to Beijing
Kinda like easyjet or Ryanair!

I think that is a fairly competitive route so I do not expect the price to be very expensive. Shanghai Airlines, China Eastern and Air China should all fly that route.

Don't rely on airline punctuality…
